Meet Your Doctors
Dr. Mark Wheeler
Dr. Mark Wheeler received his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University and completed his dental doctorate at Oregon Health Science University, in Portland Oregon. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. Wheeler served his country in the United States Navy Dental Corps, in Okinawa, Japan. While overseas, Dr. Wheeler completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, working with specialists in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
While serving in the Navy, he performed emergency dental care in a field surgical unit in the Queensland, Australia outback. In the Philippines, he served a humanitarian mission that provided much needed dental treatment to hundreds of nationals. Dr. Wheeler received a Navy Marine Corp Achievement Medal for his outstanding service under hostile conditions.
Dr. Wheeler is an avid believer in the importance of continuing his education and seeking the latest techniques for treatment. He specializes in dental implants, oral conscious sedation, and cosmetic dentistry. His formal training provides him with the expertise to give his patients beautiful, lifelong restorations, and the smiles of their dreams.
Dr. Monte Wells
DDS
Dr. Monte Wells graduated from Colorado State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.
In his 28+ years of experience, Dr. Wells has become proficient in multiple areas of dentistry. He has held multiple roles in dentistry from being Lead Dentist, to Dental Director, and even a practice Owner. Dr. Wells currently lives in the Chandler area and is excited to be joining Villago Family Dental.
